Early Life and Education
Jack had an eventful and unforgettable childhood. At Dulwich College, one of the leading schools in England, he participated in many sports – particularly rugby, water polo and Jiu-Jitsu which he spent much time practicing and playing during his time there. Later he went onto study at Exeter University; we don’t yet know exactly what subject matter he pursued there.
While in high school, Jack focused heavily on sports. His skills in Jiu-Jitsu and rugby stood out, while he also showed great interest in acting through various performances.
Acting Career and Debut
Jack Ramsay made his acting debut with Matilda Ramsay’s CBBC cooking show Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch in 2015 where he made guest appearances, taking pleasure from being on camera and being in front of it all.
At 17 years old, Jack took his acting further by joining The Curse of Cranholme Abbey at Edinburgh Fringe Festival with other students from Dulwich College. It was Jack’s first big step into acting, and he thoroughly enjoyed it!
Joining the Royal Marines
In 2019, Jack made an unexpected choice. Instead of continuing his focus on acting or cooking, he joined the Royal Marines – an elite division within Britain’s Armed Forces that requires strength and determination from its recruits.
Jack entered a 32-week basic training program at the Royal Marine Commando Training Centre in Devon. It proved a tremendous challenge, yet Jack worked diligently to meet its rigorous standards, showing just how serious he was about serving in the military and pushing himself toward success.

Jack Shares an Unbreakable Bond With His Father
Jack Ramsay shares a strong bond with his father, Gordon Ramsay. They often comment that Jack resembles his father. In fact, Jack and Gordon collaborated on a documentary entitled Born Famous where Jack visited Banbury (Gordon’s birthplace). This gave Jack an opportunity to experience what his childhood life was like.
In 2019, Jack took part in the London Marathon and revealed what he learned from his father Gordon during a joint interview with GQ. One key lesson he took from Gordon was “work hard, play hard” — an approach which has helped Jack remain focused and motivated throughout all his endeavours.
