Scott Porter started his acting career in 2004 when he played Matthew in the original cast of the Off-Broadway musical “Altar Boyz.” In 2006, he briefly played the role of Casey Hughes in the soap opera “As the World Turns.”
Porter got his big break in 2006 when he was cast as Jason Street in the NBC TV drama “Friday Night Lights.” His character was a high school football player who got injured in the first episode and became a paraplegic.
