Cosima was born December 15, 1993 to Nigella Lawson and John Diamond – two media figures both celebrated for their culinary expertise and journalism respectively. Unfortunately, John died suddenly of throat cancer just seven years later in March 2001 – when Cosima was only seven.
Cosima has one sibling, an older brother named Bruno Paul Diamond who was born June 28, 1996 and named Thomasina after Nigella’s sister who succumbed to breast cancer while Nigella was pregnant with Cosima in 1993.
