Early Life and Family

He even served on the Pittsburgh Pirates’ roster, although he never played in the major leagues. He later became an Assistant Athletic Director at Wake Forest.
Kissy and Bill loved sports. They established a family based on work ethic and teamwork.
Life as a Mother
After she gave birth to her son Whit, Kissy worked in social services to assist her family. Later, she worked for almost ten years at Macedonia Moravian Preschool. There, she assisted young children in learning and developing.
