Mason Olivia Grammer’s birth was an extraordinary event for her family. Using in vitro fertilization (IVF), Camille gave an egg that was fertilized by Kelsey’s sperm; as Camille struggled to carry a full term pregnancy herself, they hired a surrogate mother instead who then gave birth.

Mason Grammer was raised in a high-profile family, drawing the media’s interest at every turn. Her father Kelsey Grammer gained notoriety as Dr. Frasier Crane on Frasier and as his character on Cheers; Camille Grammer became known through her appearances on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Mason has one younger brother – Jude Gordon Grammer was born August 28, 2004 – while also having two older half sisters from previous marriages of Kelsey: Spencer Grammer was born October 9, 1983 while Greer Grammer arrived February 15, 1992.

Mason has an admiring relationship with Camille Grammer, whom she frequently credits with shaping her character and maturity. Although their separation caused hardship for their family unit, Mason has managed to remain close with all her siblings including Jude who she considers her brother.

In 2022, Mason began dating Deniz Akyurek, an independent director and editor. Since then they have collaborated on short films together while continuing to form their careers together. Their relationship appears strong as they build their careers together.
