Nathaneal Spader and Leslie Stefanson, two well-known actors who both share roles on The Blacklist as well as movies like Sex, Lies & Videotape are his parents. Leslie Stefanson also used to be an actress before transitioning into sculpture – she may not be as widely recognized but remains an important presence in Nathaneal’s life.

Before marrying Leslie, James Spader was married to Victoria Kheel. With Victoria came two sons: Sebastian and Elijah – Nathaneal is their half-brother – Sebastian was born in 1989 while Elijah came two years later in 1992 – while Nathaneal is his youngest brother among all of James Spader’s offspring.

Nathaneal’s Early Life

Nathaneal was born in 2008 and spent his early years with his parents and peaceful family life. Since 2002 when they met on set of Alien Hunter movie they have been in relationship and remain so.

Even though Nathaneal is still young, he and James have shared some memorable moments together. James admits that having Nathaneal has slow him down considerably; therefore he enjoys spending more time with his son. During COVID-19 lockdown James and Nathaneal spent plenty of time together; even using their backyard BB gun to shoot targets together!

Nathaneal has two older half-brothers. Sebastian Spader was born in 1989. Sebastian works in real estate but also enjoys photography – publishing a book entitled Wondering to showcase this. Additionally, Sebastian travels and explores new places regularly. Sebastian prefers staying private so does not utilize social media.

Nathaneal Spader was given another half-brother when Elijah Spader was born in 1992. Elijah, also known by his stage name Eli, works as a sound engineer on popular shows such as Barry and The Blacklist (where his father stars), while also being a musician himself – playing guitar, singing, and even creating some incredible sculptures with clay! Additionally, Eli is happily married and enjoys traveling extensively with his partner – they were wed in Italy in 2024!

Nathaneal has developed close ties to both of his older brothers over time. They all share a strong familial bond and support each other as family.

James Spader on Fatherhood

James Spader has often discussed how fatherhood has changed him.
