Browne became one of the skilled strikers who could do most things. Some of his important victories were achieved against fighters like Alistair Overeem and Gabriel Gonzaga. Another important fight in which he competed was on October 5, 2012, against Antônio Silva, where he experienced his first defeat due to injury.
Although his career was not without its ups and downs, Browne left his mark in the UFC. His last fight was in 2017 against Aleksei Oleinik at UFC 213. He has not officially announced his retirement, but he hasn’t competed professionally since.
Meeting Ronda Rousey

Personal Achievements
Browne’s road to MMA was rather different. Prior to stepping into the ring, he played basketball and had no background in combat sports. A turning point in his life was when he got introduced to Brazilian jiu-jitsu at 26 years old. From then on, he trained in boxing and developed an all-around fighting style.
In the UFC, Browne’s career was marked by victories and losses. His early record of 8-3-1 showed great promise. Though the later years of his career included a tough losing streak, he had faced some of the toughest opponents in the heavyweight division, including Cain Velasquez and Fabricio Werdum.
