A Young Tennis Fan
Stefan enjoys playing tennis. He has been exposed to the sport since childhood. Seeing his dad play inspired him. But Novak explains he never made Stefan play. Stefan himself took up the racket.
He practices frequently and loves to learn the game. Occasionally, he trains with his dad. He even accompanies him to the court during warm-up sessions for major games. Most fans adore moments like these between a father and a son.

Funny Moments with Dad
One of the best things about Stefan is that he is playful. He will sometimes imitate Rafael Nadal’s famous forehand swing. He does this simply for fun and to irritate his dad. Novak thinks it’s hilarious and states that it keeps him loose.
At Wimbledon 2025, Stefan gathered signatures of numerous tennis greats. He had a white hat full of their autographs. Curiously, the only one missing was that of Novak’s! Stefan did not get his dad’s signature, and Novak teased him about it afterwards, saying he would gladly sign.
Wimbledon and Beyond
Stefan enjoys being a part of the tennis universe. He doesn’t merely watch; he participates. At Wimbledon 2025, he even got to practice shots with Novak’s next opponent, Italian player Flavio Cobolli.
Novak chuckled and asked Stefan if he could perhaps offer him some advice before the game. Moments like these reveal how much Stefan loves tennis and being a part of his dad’s universe.
A Happy Family
Stefan stays with his parents and sister. The family is very close-knit. Novak always refers to his children as his “angels.” He proudly states that he is a father and works hard to make time for family and work.
Jelena Djokovic, his wife, encourages both Stefan and Tara Djokovic in all that they do. The family also travels together often. They support Novak from the stands and spend time together during tournaments.
