Andrea Drews (born on December 25, 1993) is an American professional volleyball player who plays for the United States women’s national volleyball team. Growing up, she showed a great talent for volleyball, which led her to play for Purdue University from 2012 to 2015. While at Purdue, Andrea was an amazing outside hitter and earned All-America honors.
In 2017, Andrea joined the U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team. In 2019, she was named the USA Volleyball Female Indoor Player of the Year, she achieved this for her dedication, hard work, and skills.
She has helped the US team win several big tournaments. She won gold at the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Nations League and silver at the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Cup. Her biggest achievement is winning a gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Andrea has also played in different countries, including Puerto Rico, Italy, and Turkey.
