Anirudha was born on the 14th of April in the year 1987 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Srikkanth Anirudha is his full name. His family admired cricket a great deal. He is the son of Krishnamachari Srikkanth, a past Indian cricket captain. His mother is Vidya Srikkanth, who is a housewife.
His brother, Adithyaa Srikkanth, runs a business. Adithyaa is a married man whose wife’s name is Aishwarya Srikkanth. He also has a child, a girl whose name is Arana.

Cricket Career
Anirudha began playing cricket as a teenager. He played for the India Under-19 side. He played his first-class for Tamil Nadu during the 2003–04 season of the Ranji Trophy when he was only 16 years old.
In 2005, he scored 143 runs in a match against England Under-19 and assisted India in winning the match. It was one of his early break-through moments.
He was a right-hand batsman and also used to bowl right-arm off-spin, though he primarily played as a batsman.
IPL Journey
Anirudha played in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He played for the Chennai Super Kings team between 2008 and 2013. He scored some crucial innings for the team. In certain games, he led his team to victory with fast runs. His best IPL score was 64 runs.
In 2014, he appeared in one game for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

His best score in TNPL was 98. He had an excellent strike rate of more than 140, indicating his ability as a fast-scoring batsman.

Anirudha played hard-hitting cricket, similar to his father. He enjoyed playing big shots and scoring runs quickly. This turned him into a formidable player in T20 cricket.
He was also picked in the India Greens team for the Challenger Trophy and was included in the probables list for the ICC World T20 in 2007–08. However, he never got an opportunity to play for India at the senior level.
