Athletic Background
Ashley was an outstanding swimmer. While attending Chaparral High School, she earned 12 prep All-American distinctions before winning Arizona 4A state champion in 2009 in 100 yard backstroke. Following high school graduation, Ashley joined University of Texas for 100m backstroke trials before later transferring to USC where she would graduate in 2014.

Career in Journalism
Following college, Ashley began pursuing a career in sports journalism. She began as a college football sideline reporter for Cox 7 Arizona before working as weekend sports anchor for KGUN-TV Tucson.
Her big break came when she joined ABC. There, she covered major sporting events such as the 2020 World Series and Super Bowl LVI. Later that year, she made the leap to ESPN where she would anchor SportsCenter and co-host SportsNation on ESPN+.
ESPN Layoff
In June 2023, as part of their cost-cutting measures, Ashley was laid off from ESPN just weeks before her wedding. However, despite this setback she remained positive and focused on building her future.
Relationship With Frank Kaminsky
Ashley first met Frank Kaminsky, an NBA player, in 2017. They met initially as friends before developing into something more. For many years they kept their relationship under wraps before finally going public in 2019.
Frank made Ashley an offer, which she accepted. On July 7, 2023 they celebrated their wedding at Chileno Bay Resorts & Residences in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; it was a stunning beach wedding attended by close family and friends.
