Justine Wong-Orantes (born on October 6, 1995) is an American volleyball player. She plays as a libero for the United States Women’s National Volleyball team and currently for LOVB Omaha. She got her career breakthrough by being part of the team that saw the Cornhuskers secure the NCAA national championship in 2015.
She excelled in beach volleyball during youth and high school. Wong-Orantes played on the US national team since 2017 and rapidly announced herself on the scene by winning a gold medal at the Pan-American Volleyball Cup and a bronze at the Volleyball World Grand Prix.
She contributed to the success of the United States with their first gold medal in the women’s volleyball tournament at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She led at the top in the serve reception percentage and emerged as the tournament’s best libero of the Olympics.
During her professional career, Wong-Orantes has played in different European clubs such as Schweriner SC, VC Wiesbaden, and Béziers Volley. She is also recognized for being a good defensive player and a good court leader.
