The situation took a turn for the worse. A brawl erupted inside the hallway. In the midst of the brawl, Mascol was shot dead. Security tapes captured the brawl but failed to reveal who the shooter was.
Arrest and Trial
In April 2016, the police arrested Jack King and Donny Nemeth. Initially, both men were not guilty as they claimed. Later in the year 2017, however, they changed their plea to guilty. Both men pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, robbery, and kidnapping.
Neither Donny nor Jack indicated who shot the fatal bullet. As the video wasn’t clearly revealing the shooter, it remained a secret.

The Sentence
Donny received a 15-year prison sentence after the trial. Jack King got 17 years. Donny made a statement during the court hearing about his addiction to drugs.
