Earliest Days Cricket

Duan made his first-class appearance in January 2019, representing North West in the CSA 3-Day Provincial Cup. Just a week later, he began playing List A cricket as part of the CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge. In September 2019, he entered into the T20 format, and represented Free State in the CSA Provincial T20 Cup.

Domestic and League Cricket

Duan has represented several domestic teams, such as the North West Dragons. His skills also earned him a place in international T20 leagues. In 2022, he played for the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in the Caribbean Premier League. He was one of the best bowlers in the 6ixty tournament. His team even won the competition.

In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Duan was signed by the Mumbai Indians for INR 20 lakhs. This marked a big step in his career.
