Jordan E. Walsh, born on March 3, 2004, is an American professional basketball player currently playing for the Boston Celtics in the NBA.
Jordan was raised in DeSoto, Texas. He first went to Faith Family Academy in Dallas. As a junior in high school, he was really good at basketball. He scored a lot, grabbed many rebounds, and was great at defense too. Then, he moved to Link Academy in Branson, Missouri for his senior year.
Walsh committed to playing college basketball for the Arkansas Razorbacks. At Arkansas, he started as a wing player in his freshman season but was moved to the bench as a key reserve midway through the season. He then soon returned to the starting lineup, becoming one of Arkansas’ key defenders. In his lone season at Arkansas, Walsh averaged 7.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game. He declared for the 2023 NBA draft while maintaining his college eligibility, and later decided to remain in the draft.
The Sacramento Kings first picked Jordan in the 2023 NBA Draft, but then the Boston Celtics got him. He joined the Celtics as a new and promising player.
