Romell Henry’s YouTube Journey
Romell Henry is an extremely naughty person who is always pulling pranks on his friends. He became friends with Jay Swingler, a comedian who was rising to fame thanks to viral videos posted to YouTube and other sites. They came to the conclusion that it would be fun to start a YouTube channel where they could share their comedic and prank videos.
Next, they launched a YouTube channel called TGFbro. Their debut video, “The Laughter Challenge,” was a take on a popular internet contest. Each of them can be heard laughing for no apparent reason in the clip. One of the videos featured them participating in the now-famous “Lemon Challenge,” in which participants taste a series of lemons of varying ripeness and flavor. They redeployed the same video, this time substituting chili for lemon. They tried several different kinds of chili peppers, and by the end of the video, it was to be expected that they were feeling a bit uneasy.
Both YouTubers can be seen in a number of challenge videos on the channel. They made a video where they tasted lemon and vinegar without getting sick. In one of their videos, they even try some pet food. Romell Henry’s goal in one of their most viral challenge videos, “The Make Them Move Game,” was to make viewers laugh or cry with his singing. Again, they challenged one another to see who could do the most push-ups in a video. Once, while extremely inebriated, they filmed a music video.
The Superglue Game, in which Romell Henry glued various objects to Jay’s body, is one of their most viewed videos. Jay struggled to pull Romell Henry’s attention away from his phone game in the Patience Test challenge. The band then released a string of videos in which they fielded bizarre questions from their fan base.
Specifically, on June 1, 2016, Romell Henry launched a new channel. In his first video, titled “Insane Watermelon Jelly,” he demonstrated how to create a massive jelly ball inside the watermelon’s rind. Romell read some odd fanfiction in the next video. At least one of them claimed Romell was killed in a car crash. A few days later, his followers demanded that he prove to them that he was still alive by posting photos to his Instagram account. It was later clarified by Romell Henry that the account had been hacked, but he promised to return to Instagram as soon as the issue was resolved.
The channel’s most-watched video series was filmed in a luxurious mansion. He uploaded the series to both platforms and was spotted having a good time in his mansion. When Romell Henry and Jay were playing one of the games, they stumbled onto private property and were promptly arrested.
Romell Henry once scared Jay and his friends with a prank video in which he described exploring a haunted tunnel. A later example of Romell’s ingenuity is the go-kart track he built inside a deserted house. Then he decided to take on a challenge and try Volcanic Curry, the hottest curry in the world. Additionally, Romell uploaded a video of himself doing a clothing haul for a single Euro. Then, Romell and his mom did a Q&A video in which the latter answered fan questions about Romell. The questions were funny because they were so embarrassing and prankster-like.
