Arya first gained recognition for her portrayal of Dr. Megan Sharma in the British soap opera Doctors, for which she was nominated for a British Soap Award. She went on to play the role of Flash, a Synth, in the science fiction series Humans. In 2019, she joined the cast of the Netflix series The Umbrella Academy as Lila Pitts.
